# Introduction

## What is Trench Radar?&#x20;

Trench Radar is a highly advanced bot, designed to scan the entire SOL chain for new trends, insider activity, volume surges, or potential mooner signals.&#x20;

Trench Radar constantly scans transactions, wallets, tokens, and uses multiple algorithms to check patterns against historical data and determine notable activity.&#x20;

Additionally, we also scan X/twitter for freshly posted token addresses from known accounts, and measure the trending level based off another set of algorithms.&#x20;

More details ahead on how to effectively use each module of the bot!&#x20;

## NOTE

This guide will not include any trading tips, only info on what to make of the bot filters and calls. If you're looking for a simple guide on trading coins, please read [this short google doc](https://docs.google.com/document/d/130okQJYG9U3Wnl_VofCnhBSauQeUeniSQ3e4-xuKWG4/edit). All the bots, any alpha, and any info you get from anyone is completely *useless*, **unless** you know how to trade properly.&#x20;

# Filter Categories

### Introduction

Once you create your filter, you'll be presented with all the categories you can toggle between. Feel free to experiment with what makes sense. Toggle, backtest, and assess. Run it as many times as necessary to reach your desired risk/reward appetite. \
\
We've designed our UI in such a way that if you're subscribed and have access, you'll *never* have to look at this page again. The UI has EVERYTHING highlighted, from each category to each individual option, with pointers, tips, and explanations on each, making the learning experience easy and seamless.\
\
This page is a quick preview of the categories, and may be outdated as we add more options in the future! &#x20;

### :robot: Algorithm Scores

Let's face it, maybe you're new and don't have too much knowledge about all the different options and filters. Well, we've made it stupidly simple to get high quality alerts with just two clicks!

Our algorithm scores are AI ([Overseer Model](https://x.com/bahrs_trench/status/1883377747986432101)) assisted, and use proven data to get consistently good calls. If you're just starting out you can pick the medium sensitivity setting and watch as we curate tokens for you! For more info, check out [Scoring System](/curated-radar/scoring-system)!

<figure><img src="/files/oydMtOVdVUkm0bIaAcUN" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### 🐳 Whale Tracking

Track significant wallet activity and proven traders. The system analyzes:

* Purchase amounts in SOL
* Historical wallet performance (win rates)
* Total wallet value
* Known KOL (Key Opinion Leader) activity
* Minimum number of wallets buying a token

<figure><img src="/files/C3cgZ6ApDEz0fwwDojIG" alt=""><figcaption><p>Sample whale editing</p></figcaption></figure>

### 👥 Insider Detection

Identify potential insider trading patterns

• Track connected wallet behaviors\
• Detect early buying before public launch\
• Monitor team wallet movements\
• Identify coordinated buying patterns\
\
Insiders wallets are essentially wallets that strictly buy pump.fun tokens before they bond. They're usually freshly funded or have a connection to other traders or the deployer team. Using them alone will net a lot of calls and likely bad winrates, but if paired with high volume or a whale, you can get very good results.

<figure><img src="/files/gfjcRAxrFCWGLw5oNtbX" alt=""><figcaption><p>Insider menu sample</p></figcaption></figure>

### 🆕 Fresh Wallet Analysis

Monitor newly funded wallets from centralized exchanges:

* CEX withdrawal tracking
* First-time buyer patterns
* Coordinated fresh wallet movements

These wallets can sometimes indicate insider potential as well, with some whales wanting to use mixers or CEXes to cover their tracks. Luckily we follow them all.&#x20;

<figure><img src="/files/yKttkeOdLJslhEydFGVH" alt=""><figcaption><p>Fresh wallet menu sample</p></figcaption></figure>

### :bar\_chart: Market Info

Set minimum requirements for market info. As of writing this, it's a little bit primitive, only allowing minimal options. However in the near future we plan to add minimum holders, max marketcap, and risk scores for users to pick from. We currently filter out any potential hard rugs automatically (lp unlocked, freezable, etc).&#x20;

<figure><img src="/files/xoKVULm8fAGHGgRXjcMf" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### :bird: Twitter Info

Our twitter info tab allows you to have a quick overview on all the main twitter KOLs and associated accounts. We have a big selection of users that we monitor for interactions with any new coins, or tweets that mention a certain CA etc. They're currently categorized into multiple tiers based off of virality. You can refer to [Twitter/X Tracking](/curated-radar/twitter-x-tracking) for more info!

<figure><img src="/files/OnnHpNAtGNQ8vgofFLE3" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### :zap:Volume Thresholds

One thing that we excel at is tracking everything on chain. That alone has allowed us to monitor and filter out volumes in-house. We've added that into its own category where you're able to track volumes on *all timeframes*, and monitor for any suspicious spikes on any timeframe as well!

Keep in mind, we only monitor REAL volume from REAL wallets. We automatically discard any fake volume/tx propping bots using our algorithms. This means that the numbers you see may be a bit different from a dex/trading terminal, but it's much more valuable to track real trading when it comes to filtering.

<figure><img src="/files/JGb47VqORbpb3jW9eK96" alt=""><figcaption><p>Sample volume tracking</p></figcaption></figure>

#### :chart\_with\_upwards\_trend: :warning: Note about spikes!

In order to have a working spike detection system, you need to define both your volume spike % AND a spike timeframe. We track volume spikes on all timeframes and it didn't make sense to allow filtering for all of them from a technical standpoint. We recommend filtering for something higher than 5 minutes, as that's usually very volatile and can be triggered by just 1 whale selling or buying tokens, or set higher volume thresholds if you define 5 minutes.&#x20;

### :package: Bundle Detection

We leverage our own bundling system from [Bundle Scanner Guide](/bundle-tools/bundle-scanner-guide)to provide you with insights on bundles for any token. Keep in mind it only works for pump fun launches, and it may delay your alert a little bit (5-10s, sometimes its instant!). This way you can filter out for clear rugs depending on your personal thresholds. You can also filter out deployers depending on their past history.

<figure><img src="/files/OlX9tCsZGUa9FPLlj29P" alt=""><figcaption><p>Sample bundle settings</p></figcaption></figure>

### ⚙️ Alert Preferences

Here you can define the frequency of alerts that you'd like to receive. If you have a volatile filter set in place, it's wise to have a lower alert frequency so that you don't get spammed. The alert frequency only checks SAME TOKENS.&#x20;

Meaning that if a token passes your filter, then quickly passes it again within the next 5 minutes, you won't get alerts for that token until the time has passed. You'll however still get alerts for any different tokens that pass regardless! Each token is tracked separately from its posting time and respects the frequency that you set!

<figure><img src="/files/lz7tYhBNqhhrgbcBm7WD" alt=""><figcaption><p>Alert preferences</p></figcaption></figure>

### :warning: Word of caution

You should ALWAYS do your own research on tokens that are filtered. We help you plow through the almost 40,000 daily launches by giving you access to cutting-edge filters.&#x20;

At the end of the day, it comes down to the trader making good decisions on which tokens to hold, when to sell, when to scale in, and when to completely skip the trade.&#x20;

If you want to get a good idea on how you should trade your filters with stats, check out our backtesting guide!&#x20;

<figure><img src="/files/m5HnTiQ4W4Peq8GaVenp" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

You can see the entries highlighted with the blue shape, and all the take profits marked as stars. If it's a stop loss, it's marked as an :x: on the chart.&#x20;

<figure><img src="/files/s1LNYwOl6rL3mgrUH6if" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

All of our price tracking is done in-house, and should be almost 1:1 with any dex viewer. However, you may see a bunch of gaps in the lower timeframe or lower mcap tokens that have less activity. This is to be expected as they generally have less action for multiple hours at a time, and it's not inherently an inaccuracy issue.&#x20;

# Introduction

Our new Curated Radar is a cutting-edge bot designed for traders and investors. It provides real-time, curated alerts on promising tokens by analyzing multiple data points and market activities. Our advanced algorithms filter through the noise to bring you high-potential opportunities before they hit mainstream attention.

:warning: *Calls provided by the bot are not financial advice. The bot is simply a tool that is designed to assist your trading. Take your financial decisions with care.*&#x20;

**Key Features:**

* Multi-Factor Alerts: Combines whale transactions, insider/CEX activity, and Twitter sentiment to identify promising tokens.
* Whale Wallet Detection: Identifies and tracks purchases from wallets with significant holdings across multiple tokens. If these whales are holding a lot, we also display their general winrate and similar information
* Insider and Fresh Wallet Tracking: Monitors purchases from wallets associated with project insiders and newly funded accounts.
* Twitter Integration: Analyzes Twitter activity to detect rising trends and influential mentions.
* Detailed Analytics: Provides in-depth information on each alerted token, including transaction history and social media activity.
* Low Market Cap Focus: Prioritizes tokens with market caps under $10 million for higher growth potential, with higher scores favoring lower market caps&#x20;

# Scoring System

This is arguably the most important and fundamental part of our curated bot, **Scores.**\
\
Our scoring algorithms are very intricate and sensitive, and still largely under work as we modify and tweak them.\
\
But here's a general understanding of it so you can see why each alert was called.

* Whales purchasing a token increases the score. The score for whales depends on how many there are, how much they've bought, and at which market cap. It also adds a bonus for a whale's win rate if it exists. The system prioritizes micro caps and has a lower tendency to call larger caps. It also doesn't call anything above 10 million market cap. Low win rate whales decrease the score.&#x20;
* Whale + another alert exponentially increases the score. So you may see tokens where only 1 whale has bought them, but they were also bought by an insider or had twitter activity.
* Fresh wallets and insiders are calculated the same as whales, where the score depends on how many wallets and how much they've bought.
* Twitter activity gives a boost depending on what level of activity it has on twitter. "Early alerts" give only a few points, but a "Wide spread" alert gives a lot more
* Every time a token is called, the threshold for the next call is increased by 30%, this makes duplicate calls harder unless there's significant activity.

## :grey\_question: Examples

For instance, you could see a token with only 1 larger whale purchase that gets alerted at 100k market cap. This is because the whale likely has good winrate, and the market cap bonus was significant enough to pass the threshold.\
\
You may also see a token called at a mid-range market cap with only 1 whale and 1 fresh wallet. This is because of the exponential boost that two alerts give each other.\
\
As always, you need to make your best judgement with these alerts, and not all alerts are for buying.

## :thought\_balloon: Considerations & Caution :warning:

While we've tried our best to tweak the algorithm, it's still prone to errors and may call things not worthy of being "curated". \
\
We've decided to release our first beta version with these values, but we've been storing all data points in our databases and we plan on doing rigorous AI training on them. The AI will prioritize a balance between returns and safety, and will be the one deciding the scores and the next score threshold rather than our hard-set math values.\
\
We'll also be taking user feedback on the bot to see what hits better and what still needs work or modification. &#x20;

# Call Breakdown

Each call is full of insanely rich data and information, this guide will explain exactly what each part means so that you can reference it in your future usage. We can roughly split up each call into 5 sections.&#x20;

:exclamation:**All these sections are part of 1 call message. One message may contain all these types.**&#x20;

## :scroll: General Token Info

These are just very general details about the token, the name, market cap, and CA. We don't include things such as socials because we don't want to crowd the messages too much, and to leave room for other potential information. \
![](/files/KpLbY0shP67pA9BwZrJl)

## :whale2: Whale Information

This is arguably the most important part of the curated bot, as whales contribute largely to the internal score of a token. More whales = higher score, and higher purchased amount = higher score as well. The score is what determines if a token should be called or not. Let's break down the sample of the message below\
\
![](/files/Mi5kveWQSoPsiNcYVDF0)<br>

1. You can see how many wallets purchased. All links are clickable and lead to Solscan.
2. You can see how much SOL, at which market cap, and how long ago.&#x20;
3. You can see the whale's highest holding ticker and amount. For example the first whale (75Gb...) is holding 113k worth of $GNON.
4. You can see the whale's average winrate for all the tokens they've traded. Again for the first whale you can see their winrate is 36.84%. Higher winrate whales increase the score of the call, and lower winrate deduct from the score
5. Whales who have bought on pump fun before bonding will be prefixed with a 💊 emoji.
6. If you click on the highlighted "WR" you can view full winrate info in a DM with our bot. You'll be prompted to click "Start" after clicking on the highlighted winrate, and you'll get a menu like this. All very insightful statistics that you can use to determine a whale's general behaviour (alpha vs gambler)\
   \
   ![](/files/9G2mkv4FdFQFD8lAJ6Db)&#x20;

**NOTE:** We only scan the winrate of wallets that have over 100k+ in holdings. There are some smaller whales that we don't waste resources on scanning as it's very expensive to get that sort of history.

## :bird: Twitter Activity

This is the exact same as our twitter tracking mechanism in our twitter bot. The only difference here is that we make it much shorter and concise. For full details on what each alert means, take a look at [Twitter/X Tracking](/curated-radar/twitter-x-tracking)\
\
Here are some examples of what it looks like in the **Curated** bot:\
![](/files/RR0oP52QxAyV02zvUJQG)\
\
![](/files/z3192qXUsZlunUywN4sC)\
\
And so on. Again, they're just brief headlines to give a general overview.&#x20;

## :seedling: Fresh Wallet Tracking

Fresh wallets are wallets which have been funded from a CEX exclusively to buy a certain token. If they buy multiple tokens, they're disqualified from the check. Usually this is an indicator of insider movement, or whales/insiders trying to cover their tracks by CEX-washing their wallets.\
\
Unfortunately for them, we track every CEX and mixer to ensure we have the highest scope possible. The format is quite similar to the whales, and you can see it below. \
![](/files/IHoMYd6qr90MFJiONyeZ)\
\
These also increase the score dramatically when paired with whales or twitter activity. You can click to see wallet details, see when they bought and at what market cap.

## :eyes: INSIDERS&#x20;

These are wallets which our algorithms have picked up as "insider" wallets, usually they have suspicious activity regarding a token launch. We don't disclose these wallets since they're only really important for that token purchase only, and we don't recommend tracking or copy trading them.\
\
All insiders are prefixed with :pill:, since they're only tracked if they've purchased on pump fun before the bonding curve completes.\
\
![](/files/cBqI83BMO814PUlns8Pp)

## :warning: General Caution

All these wallets and metrics are designed to assist users. You should use your own judgement when purchasing any token. Just because a token has a high concentration of whales or insiders doesn't mean it's a good buy, as whales can also get rugged and lose their investments.<br>

# Detailed Alert Viewer

One amazing feature that we provide to curated & full package subscribers is our **Detailed Alert Viewer**.

Through it, you can view the data of ANY token, with a rich and slick design, and maximum convenience through telegram!\
\
Below, we'll show examples of how to use it and what each option does.

## :rotating\_light: Viewing Bot Call Details

With each curated call that the bot makes, you'll be able to see a button at the bottom of the message that prompts you to view full details. \
\
![](/files/ZLuodlWYQCtpXzlND6NA)\
\
When you click through it, you'll be taken to our curated bot's DM, and once you click "Start" you'll be presented a menu of details about the token you clicked.

<figure><img src="/files/tcxSap5GuOdhSA5TblPN" alt=""><figcaption><p>example menu with all buttons available</p></figcaption></figure>

Here, you'll see that all options are clickable. That means that each category is filled. If one of the categories doesn't exist, you'll get an :x: to indicate that there isn't anything yet. \
&#x20; ![](/files/j3AjVRJqHxAFNPLdWSQy)

## :mag: Scanning Normal Addresses

Someone gave you "alpha" and you want to make sure its special? You can easily do that with our curated bot scanner above!\
\
:warning: **This feature is explicitly enabled for subscribers. Not everyone can use** \
**this!**

**To use it:** \
&#x20;1\. Navigate to @TrenchRichBot on telegram \
&#x20;2\. Run `/details ca`\
&#x20;3\. You'll be prompted with the same menu given above! As long as we have data in our databases, we will display it.&#x20;

In the following sections, we'll be breaking down the even richer details in each category.

## :whale: Whale Activity

Whale activity is almost exactly the same as the normal curated calls, however we provide a few more crucial bits of details. \
\
![](/files/t78PmzuzhsA1WFCi6kzj)\
\
You can either sort transactions by size, or by recency. Just to see if big buys came through or if a token is still relevant.\
\
Not only that, but we also scan all holders of the token to see if these whales are still holding the token or if they've sold. As you can see above, the first whale is holding 0.15% of the supply, the second one is holding 0.17%, etc. \
\
Here is an example of a token where some whales sold. \
![](/files/fTs1dsORXOvyYJNDlRs2)\
\
\
Additionally, we scan bigger wallets (100k+) for their winrate and statistics. If you click on the highlighted WR, it'll open a menu for that specific whale's winrate. \
\
![](/files/EzBsIGyNBcO6scgVApEb)

## :eyes: CEX/Insider Activity

Basically the same as the normal calls, except that we also display the currently held amount of supply. \
\
![](/files/PvdjGEh6Uvpbgdr24tac)\
\
You can also sort by size or recency. **Fresh wallets** are prefixed with :seedling:, while **pump fun insiders** are prefixed with :pill:

## :bird: Twitter Activity

This shows a comprehensive history of the twitter filters that a token has gone through, and at which timestamps. This is a quick sample as there isn't too much to say about it.\
\
![](/files/wLva4sfEXurwB4WFiBEu)\
\
For obvious reasons, sorting this will not work or do anything. It also has quick search buttons for the ticker or the CA to assist users in doing more research.&#x20;

# Twitter/X Tracking

Another impeccable module of Trench Radar is its live twitter/x tracking. Trench Radar has a list of over 4,000 twitter accounts, alongside the people they follow, ALL related to CT (crypto twitter), ensuring that all trends are checked in real-time by anyone in the list.&#x20;

Depending on who mentioned it, how many people mentioned it, their follower counts and influence, Trench Radar will evaluate a trending level for a token and send a message accordingly.&#x20;

Below are a list of all trending levels and what they imply:

## :warning:DISCLAIMER :warning:

You MUST check tweets with the contract/ticker as part of your research in these tokens. Due to twitter API issues, some calls may be delayed, or false positives (by some bots). You have to check yourself to distinguish that and make the decision accordingly. If a token is called at sub 1k market cap, you can usually tell that's a false positive to avoid.

## :hatching\_chick: Early Alerts

These are FRESH alerts, or basically the first in the hierarchy of trending. This is the lowest level of trending, and is triggered often sometimes by just two or three mentions of it on twitter. These don't really have to be new tokens, they could be older tokens which are starting to pick up some attention now.

These alerts are very high risk, and you have to use your own judgement on whether to buy or not. However, it makes sure you get the best entries possible, since the further trending levels could take 20-30 minutes to fully "cook".

Again, make sure to check the tweets by searching the CA and ticker of the token on twitter.&#x20;

## :speech\_balloon:Selected Twitter Calls

These are all calls from the above early alerts *(no twitter alert can be sent without going through early alerts first).* However, they're picked using a different checking algorithm to see if more note-worthy accounts are talking about it. This gives more confidence than the early alerts usually and has and even better win-rate.

## :anger\_right::man\_running: Selected QUICKLY twitter calls

These are similar to the above calls algorithm-wise, but the only difference is that it checks if the criteria is met under *x* amount of time. Usually, if a lot of accounts are talking about it this quickly, it could be a newly emerging trend.

Something to note though that *most* the time, this call will always be paired with the previous call, so it will basically double send the same call sometimes. &#x20;

## :fire::mobile\_phone:Wide Spread alert

This is usually fired once a token has gotten many hits on the Radar, and usually acknowledged by notable many accounts.&#x20;

We recommend using this as a signal to try and time the top of a token, rather than a buy signal. It's a good indicator of when to start to DCA out of a position. Once everyone knows about it and it reaches this level, you can bet that early investors are about to use the incoming wave as exit liquidity. Just a little tip!

# Clusters Guide

## Bundle Risk Index (BRI) - User Guide

### 🎯 What is the Bundle Risk Index?

The Bundle Risk Index (BRI) is an advanced analysis system that detects coordinated trading activity in cryptocurrency tokens. It identifies groups of wallets ("clusters") that may be working together to manipulate token prices or create artificial trading volume.

<figure><img src="/files/J2mxvvtRIhylqeNBcHnW" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### 📊 BRI vs Regular Bundle Analysis

#### Key Differences from regular bundles

The Bundle Risk Index (BRI) is a **significant** evolution from the regular bundle scanner:

| Feature | Old Bundling | Bundle Risk Index (BRI) |
| --------------------------- | ------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------- |
| **Analysis Depth**          | Basic funding connections | Multi-dimensional risk scoring                  |
| **Temporal Analysis** | Not included | Weighted window correlation |
| **Risk Scoring**            | Simple grouping           | 0-100% weighted risk scores                     |

| **Performance**             | Slower                    | Optimized with caching                          |
| **False Positive Handling** | Minimal                   | Built-in filters and thresholds                 |
| **Output Format**           | Flat groups               | Hierarchical risk-based clusters                |

### 📊 How It Works

#### Detection Methods

The system analyzes multiple dimensions to identify suspicious wallet clusters:

**1. Temporal Analysis ⏱️**

* Detects wallets that made their first trade within minutes of each other
* Identifies synchronized trading patterns
* Flags coordinated market entries
* Time windows: typically within short periods for high correlation

**2. Funding Analysis 💰**

* Traces wallet funding sources back to common origins
* Identifies shared funding patterns (CEX, mixers, stealth funding)
* Analyzes funding time proximity
* Detects sophisticated evasion techniques

**3. Behavioral Analysis 👥**

* Examines trading patterns across wallets
* Identifies coordinated holding/selling behavior
* Analyzes wallet age and activity history
* Detects similar buy amounts and timing

**4. Wallet Composition 🔍**

* Categorizes wallets as:
  * **New Wallets**: Created recently (high risk if many)
  * **Sniper Wallets**: Specialized in early token purchases
  * **Regular Wallets**: Normal trading history
  * **Unknown**: Insufficient data

### 🚨 Risk Scoring System

#### Overall Risk Score

Each cluster receives a risk score from 0-100%:

* 🔴 **70-100%**: VERY HIGH - Strong evidence of coordination
* 🟡 **40-69%**: HIGH - Likely coordinated activity
* 🟠 **20-39%**: MEDIUM - Some suspicious patterns
* 🟢 **0-19%**: LOW/MINIMAL - Normal activity

<figure><img src="/files/Sjm3pdPw6zb3QiDFD66a" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### Risk Factor Breakdown

The total risk score is composed of four weighted factors:

1. **Temporal Score (0-40%)**: How synchronized are first trades?
2. **Funding Score (0-50%)**: Do wallets share funding sources?
3. **Wallet Composition Score (0-25%)**: What types of wallets are involved?
4. **Behavioral Score (0-20%)**: How similar are trading patterns?

<figure><img src="/files/lhlP4bjRvr18JW1zphFM" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### Confidence Levels

Each risk assessment comes with a confidence rating:

* ⚡ **Very High**: Multiple strong signals detected
* 🔥 **High**: Clear evidence patterns
* ⚠️ **Medium**: Notable indicators present
* 📊 **Low**: Weak signals
* ✓ **Minimal**: Insufficient evidence

### 🎯 Cluster Types

#### Hybrid Strong ⚡

* Both temporal AND funding evidence present
* Highest risk category
* Strong indication of coordinated activity

#### Hybrid Weak 🔄

* Mixed evidence from multiple sources
* Moderate to high risk
* Some wallets show temporal correlation, others show funding links

#### Temporal Only ⏱️

* Wallets traded at nearly the same time
* No shared funding detected
* Could indicate coordinated buying or coincidence

#### Funding Only 💰

* Wallets share common funding sources
* No temporal correlation
* May indicate same actor or service

### 🔴 Red Flags to Watch For

#### Critical Warning Signs:

1. **High New Wallet Percentage (>60%)**
   * Many wallets created just for this token
   * Strong indicator of artificial activity
2. **Tight Temporal Clustering**
   * Multiple wallets trading within minutes
   * Suggests automated or coordinated execution
3. **Stealth Funding Techniques 🥷**
   * Wallets using mixer services
   * Complex funding chains to obscure origins
   * Multiple hops through intermediate wallets
4. **High Supply Concentration**
   * Top 20 holders control >80% of supply
   * Risk of price manipulation
5. **Wash Trading Indicators**
   * Groups buying >100% of supply (recycling tokens)
   * Very low retention rates (<20%)
   * High volume with minimal price impact

### 📈 Understanding the Metrics

#### Supply Metrics

* **Supply Bought**: Total percentage of token supply purchased by the cluster
* **Supply Held**: Current holdings as percentage of total supply
* **Retention**: Percentage of bought tokens still held
* **Volume**: Total SOL spent by the cluster

<figure><img src="/files/UEaTuxhzqnrRHoxfPgJh" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### Temporal Metrics

* **Time Span**: Minutes between first and last wallet's first trade
* **Funding Sync**: How closely funding times align
* **Trade Sync**: How closely trading times align

#### Funding Metrics

* **Funding Sources**: Number of unique funding origins
* **Funding Time**: How recently wallets were funded
* **Connection Type**: SOL transfers, token transfers, or both

<figure><img src="/files/JeCZntD6poPsUCTB98wl" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### ⚠️ Important Considerations

#### False Positives

The system may flag legitimate activity in certain cases:

* Multiple users withdrawing from the same CEX
* Popular wallet services or bots
* Coincidental timing during high-activity periods

#### Data Limitations

* Analysis is limited to on-chain data
* Recent tokens may have incomplete data
* Some sophisticated evasion techniques may go undetected

#### Best Practices

1. **Never rely on a single metric** - Consider the full picture
2. **Verify on-chain** - Check wallet activity on Solscan
3. **Consider context** - Token age, market conditions, etc.
4. **Look for patterns** - Multiple red flags are more concerning

### 🛡️ How to Use BRI for Due Diligence

#### Step-by-Step Process:

1. **Check Overall Risk Score**
   * Below 20%: Generally safe
   * 20-40%: Proceed with caution
   * Above 40%: High risk, investigate further
2. **Examine Risk Factors**
   * Which factors contribute most to the score?
   * Are there stealth funding indicators?
3. **Review Cluster Details**
   * How many wallets are involved?
   * What percentage of supply do they control?
   * What's their retention rate?
4. **Investigate Individual Wallets**
   * Click wallet addresses to view on Solscan
   * Check transaction history
   * Look for patterns across wallets
5. **Consider Market Impact**
   * Can these clusters dump the price?
   * Are they still accumulating?
   * What's their trading pattern?

### 🚀 Advanced Features

#### Stealth Detection

The system specifically identifies:

* Mixer usage
* Multi-hop funding chains
* Deliberate obfuscation techniques
* Time-delayed funding patterns

#### Temporal Correlation Scoring

Advanced algorithm that weighs:

* Funding-to-trading time gaps
* Cluster formation tightness
* Cross-wallet synchronization

### 📝 Glossary

* **Bundle**: Group of transactions executed together
* **Cluster**: Group of related wallets
* **Stealth Funding**: Techniques to hide funding origins
* **Temporal Correlation**: Time-based relationship between events
* **Wash Trading**: Buying and selling to create fake volume
* **Sybil Attack**: Using multiple wallets to appear as many users

# Bundle Scanner Guide

General info about bundles and our scanner

This is a slightly longer and educative page about bundling on pump fun, for general FAQ about @TrenchScannerBot please go to [#faq](#faq "mention")

## :exclamation:What is a "bundle"?

*P.S: This is a long section going into technical (but important) definitions and implications*

If you're new here, bundling is an action that token developers use to control large amounts of their supply. This is common nowadays to ensure that bad actors (rogue whales or snipers) don't ruin the momentum of a token significantly. The problem with bundles stems from the team/dev being THE bad actor. \
\
&#x20;There have been a few forms of it over the past year or so on SOL, and @TrenchScannerBot is designed only to catch the latest and most frequently used method.&#x20;

### Bundling Origins

Before pump.fun, the term bundling meant "putting multiple transaction instructions in one transaction". In simple terms, devs could use multiple wallets to buy the same coin in the same exact transaction. This was commonly done in the same transaction where the LP was deployed. It was understandable as teams didn't want snipers to catch any destructive amount of the supply on launch, so they caught that supply themselves. Essentially, tokens would be deployed AND bought up in the same transaction.\
\
With time, users figured out these bundles can easily be detected by just looking at the first few transactions.&#x20;

### :pill: Pump.fun Bundling History

When pump.fun first launched, devs used the same tactic as bundling originally. When creating a token you're prompted with how much SOL you want to buy. This in of itself is a "bundle" that's built in with pump.fun. Your buy transaction (as a dev) is bundled with the token creation and launch. This was also easily detectable and easy to check with the UI directly.&#x20;

To gain more leverage, teams started adding more and more wallets into that initial creation transaction. That's where it initially started. This ensured that no snipers bought and gave the teams a large amount of supply. \
\
However, with time trading terminals and bots adapted to this and easily showed these sorts of bundles extremely easily. It also became even harder to do it after pump.fun implemented built in bubblemap support.

### :thinking: So, what changed?

The newest way to bypass these checks was to do an orchestrated *mass snipe* rather than a traditional bundle. We will use the term bundle from here on out to keep it simple. \
\
The way it works is that a slot (or a block) gets queued for multiple buys at once. All the buys are then executed in *separate transactions* but within the same 0.4 seconds or so. Pump.fun has built in warnings for this, but they're not very detailed and it's hard to group when there's a lot of other transactions. Here's what it looks like:

<figure><img src="/files/xJ3ViBsJgn2DjPVDy43a" alt=""><figcaption><p>The warning signs are the <span data-gb-custom-inline data-tag="emoji" data-code="26a0">⚠️</span> on the right</p></figcaption></figure>

This means all 3 buy transactions were in the same exact slot with only a few milliseconds apart. These buys are usually orchestrated by the team and the chances of this occurring are *very low* **BUT** possible (more on that later).

With pump.fun's UI and a bunch of other transactions flowing in, this can be a bit hard to distinguish from a quick look, this is where Trench Radar comes in.

### :rotating\_light: TrenchRadar's Part

Very simply put, we just grab all the transactions with a :warning: next to them and re-display them in a nice and comprehensive format. We also quickly scan the holders of a the token to check if the wallets involved in a bundle are still holding or not, and how much they're holding.<br>

<figure><img src="/files/IHhrv6KpSEB3oAynzEzQ" alt=""><figcaption><p>TrenchRadar Sample<br></p></figcaption></figure>

We tell you each slot, how many unique wallets bought in that slot, how much SOL they've spent, and how much they're still holding. This data is once again derived from the pump.fun transactions directly and we don't bring anything from our side. We just make it easier to check because otherwise it would require a LOT of digging. That's not ideal for the quick-pace of these tokens.

### :warning: Considerations

Our bundle checker is by no means perfect. It's a simple transaction slot viewer, and you have to understand that two *UNRELATED* wallets could sometimes purchase in the same slot. This would happen if someone has two wallets loaded on something like BullX (they have multi-wallet buys), or someone with a very fast copytrading bot. If a token also has a lot of eyes on it and a lot of people are trying to buy it, two transactions can be processed in the same slot \
\
Generally speaking, don't pay too much attention to bundles that have 2 wallets with a low %. You should mostly be looking for 3+ wallets that are holding larger amounts of supply. Those will never happen by chance.\
\
An easy red flag is if a token scan looks like this:

&#x20;![](/files/T2Rl3hXYea9rDXoBRxt4)

You can see 24 wallets bought within the same 0.4 seconds, and are holding 76% of the supply. That is an extremely deliberate bundle and will most likely go to 0 within a few minutes. \
\
Some "bad" bundles could have multiple 5-wallet bundles, or some 10-15 wallet bundles, etc. If you see a bunch of random 2 wallet ones that are far apart, this is likely a false positive. <br>

## :question: FAQ

Here are some frequently asked questions:

#### 1. I keep getting "Server Error" when scanning, why is that?

Make sure you're scanning a pump fun token. We only provide our service for pump.fun launches and we don't have any data available for other launches (moonshot or a normal raydium launch)

#### 2. Why do you only support pump.fun right now? And do you plan on adding other ones?

For now there's not a huge demand on adding other launchpads. Pump.fun is holding the most volume, and the type of bundling we scan is the most prominent on pump.fun only. You wouldn't find it anywhere else

#### 3. Your scanner is showing bundled % over 100% of supply. Is it broken?!

Yes, we know. This is normal. There are two distinct categories, **"Total bundled %"**, and **"Current held %".** \
\
Take this scenario: a dev bundles 10% of the supply, sells it all in one clip to shake people out or stage a CTO, THEN buys up again that 10%. That will display as 20% in **Total Bundle**, but in reality it's only 10% still. \
\
Good practice is to **ALWAYS** check Current Held Percentage. If that's low or close to 0, it's safe.&#x20;

#### 4. I'm a dev, and I didn't bundle my coin. Why is it showing up on scans?!

Unfortunately, false positives happen, and as you've read above the bot mechanisms are extremely simple and we don't come up with anything not on pump.fun. Most likely what happened is one of these:\
&#x20; • Someone has a sniper set up and sniped some of your supply.\
&#x20; • Someone has a heavily copytraded wallet, and two transactions landed in the same block\
&#x20; • Someone else is controlling your supply\
&#x20;\
Thankfully though, the above cases usually never hold anything serious, at most its 1-2% per bundle.&#x20;

#### 5. Why aren't bundled team wallets showing up on bubblemaps?&#x20;

Ever since pump.fun implemented built-in bubblemaps, devs immediately evolved to bypass it. Some beginners may be caught on bubblemaps, but most the launches you see will have a clean bubblemap.\
\
:question: **So, how does it work?**\
Simply put, devs would normally fund a main wallet with a CEX or a mixer, and THEN fund all related wallets in a bundle. This also includes the dev wallet. What happens is that bubblemaps will not connect the wallets as long as the funder wallet is not involved in the coin. Digging that far back is a bit more technical and intensive to do for thousands of coins, so that's likely why that layer is omitted.\
\
This means devs can easily fund wallets and bundle their supply without showing on bubblemaps, which is how so many people lose because a coin "looks clean"\
\
If you want to avoid it without using TrenchRadar, or you want to make sure they're team wallets, you can check the dev wallet on Solscan, and see if it was funded buy a funder wallet like that. Sometimes the bundle funding is made with a CEX and the dev wallet is also made with a CEX transfer. <br>

Our bundle scanner is free to use for all, and will not have a paid/faster version. There are no associated tokens with trench radar either, and all launches are scams.&#x20;

# Bubblemap Bundle Viewer

This is a brief guide on our bubblemap bundle viewer website hosted at https\://trench.bot/!

Viewing bundles in telegram can give critical insights about a token and allow you to buy quickly. However, there are limits to how much we can cram into one simple message, and most the time we end up missing important data. \
\
This is where the idea of a bubblemap-like viewer sprouted. It simply made sense to be able to see the full data for any token and see who's actually part of a bundle easily. \
\
Initially this was a scrapped project as there was no time to complete it, but our friend [OtterOlie](https://x.com/otterolie) stepped in and actually helped finish up and polish the idea from the existing code. Show him some love!\
\
This tool will allow you to view bundles to a full extent, so that you can see if it's actually the team being devious or if it's some random snipers or copy traded wallets. Here's a quick guide written by otter!
